Brunch in Dartford from 7am: 8 cafes, pubs and Bluewater restaurants with breakfast hours, menus and a £25 bottomless brunch, checked 27 October 2026.

For brunch in Dartford, most people end up at Bill’s or Côte at Bluewater, which both publish breakfast and brunch menus and open at 8am or 9am, at the Horse & Groom in Wilmington for a pub breakfast, or at Tapas Revolution for a £25 weekend bottomless brunch. Every entry was checked against the venue’s own site, or the public listings where it has none, on 27 October 2026.

We have not eaten at these places for this guide, and nothing here is a review. Each entry sets out what the venue publishes: its menu, prices where it prints them, serving times and house rules. We add the Food Standards Agency (FSA) hygiene rating. Hours change, so check before you go.

Dartford town centre

The Flying Boat, Spital Street

The Flying Boat is the town-centre Wetherspoon, and it opens at 8am every day. Wetherspoon says breakfast is “available until the extended time of 12 noon seven days a week”, with a full cooked option, porridge, breakfast muffins and Benedicts on the menu. Prices are in the Wetherspoon app rather than on the website. Children under 18 may be in the pub between 8am and 8pm only, and the pub lists step-free access. Call 01322 421970. Hygiene rating 5 (FSA, 21 May 2025). 36-42 Spital Street, DA1 2DT. Our listing.

Bella Venezia, High Street

Bella Venezia is an independent coffee shop on the High Street with no website of its own. Its Trip.com listing gives opening hours of 8am to 5pm and notes gluten-free and vegan options and Italian gelato; a Wanderlog summary of public reviews mentions English breakfasts and poached eggs on toast. Call 01322 319125 to check hours before you go. Hygiene rating 5 (FSA, 15 September 2026). 44 High Street, DA1 1DE.

Cafe De Rumpy, Hawley Road

Cafe De Rumpy is a small independent cafe on Hawley Road, south of the town centre, and the earliest opener in this guide: its Trip.com listing gives hours of 7am to 5pm. The same listing records high chairs, outdoor seating and parking, and reviewers quoted by Wanderlog describe it as a long-running local cafe known for breakfasts and generous portions. It has no website or published menu, so call 01322 220681 for hours. Hygiene rating 5 (FSA, 3 September 2025). 11 Hawley Road, DA1 1NP.

Wilmington

The Horse & Groom, Wilmington

The Horse & Groom is run by Shepherd Neame and opens “from 10am to 11.30am for breakfast on Monday to Friday”, with lunch from 11.30am; on Saturdays food is served from 9am. On its breakfast menu, American pancakes with Chantilly cream and berry compote are £7.95, avocado and poached eggs on sourdough £8.50, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs £10.95, a vegan breakfast £11.95 and an English breakfast £12.50, with streaky bacon £1.50 extra. Dogs are allowed in the bar and garden but not the restaurant, except service dogs. Call 01322 290056. Hygiene rating 5 (FSA, 19 March 2025). 15 Leyton Cross Road, DA2 7AP. Our listing.

RG’s at Rowhill Grange, Wilmington

RG’s is the restaurant at the Rowhill Grange hotel and spa, which calls it “the gastronomic heart of Rowhill Grange”, “light and airy” by day. It publishes breakfast times of 7am to 9.30am Monday to Friday, and 8am to 10am on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays, and serves through to lunch and dinner. The page does not say whether people who are not staying can book breakfast or what it costs, so call 01322 615136 before you go. Hygiene rating 4 (FSA, 25 November 2025, listed as Rowhill Grange Hotel and Utopia Spa). Top Dartford Road, Wilmington, DA2 7QH.

Bluewater

Bill’s, Winter Garden

Bill’s says its Bluewater restaurant has “hearty breakfast options” and a “bottomless pancakes offer”, and its Bluewater brunch menu page promises “free-range eggs cooked just how you like them, Cumberland sausage, squidgy sourdough”. It also publishes kids’ and vegan menus. Opening hours: Monday to Thursday 9am to 9pm, Friday 9am to 10pm, Saturday 8am to 9pm, Sunday and bank holidays 9am to 8pm. Tables can be booked online. Côte, The Village

Côte’s Bluewater brasserie says it is “Open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner”, from 8am Monday to Saturday and 9am on Sunday. The chain’s breakfast menu lists a Côte Breakfast and a veggie breakfast, eggs Benedict, Royale and Florentine, a Comté omelette, Brittany salt butter French toast, bacon or sausage baguettes, a granola bowl and pastries, and a separate weekend brunch menu adds smashed avocado toast and a brunch burger. The menus online do not print prices. There is a kids’ breakfast menu, and the restaurant lists highchairs, baby changing and accessible toilets. Call 01322 624447. Hygiene rating 5 (FSA, 28 January 2026). The Village, lower level, Bluewater, DA9 9SE. Our listing.

Tapas Revolution, Upper Mall

Tapas Revolution runs a bottomless brunch “every Saturday & Sunday”: £25 a head for three tapas dishes from its Menu Del Dia with an hour and a half of sangria, house red or house white. It is for over-18s only, must be pre-booked between 11am and 2.30pm, and cannot be combined with other offers. Book online, call 01322 381817 or email bluewater@tapasrevolution.com for up to six people; larger groups email reservations@tapasrevolution.com. The restaurant opens at 11.30am daily. Hygiene rating 5 (FSA, 13 October 2026). Upper Mall, Bluewater, DA9 9SG.

How we chose

These are the places in and around Dartford that people search for when they want breakfast or brunch and that publish when they serve it: the two Bluewater restaurants with full breakfast menus, the weekend bottomless brunch, the pub and hotel breakfasts in Wilmington, the town-centre Wetherspoon for an early start, and two independent cafes with strong hygiene ratings. Every entry has an FSA rating of 4 or 5, and none had posted a closure notice. We left out places whose only breakfast information is a one-off event or years out of date. The facts come from each venue’s own website and menus, the Food Standards Agency and, for the two cafes without websites, their public Trip.com and Wanderlog listings.
