Dartford’s Remembrance Sunday service is on Sunday 8 November 2026 at the Memorial Gardens, Dartford War Memorial, Market Street, DA1 1EU. It runs from 10.30am to 11.30am, is free, and needs no ticket. Dartford Borough Council has the date, place and time on its events listing, checked on 25 September 2026.

The Dartford town service
The council describes it as a Service of Remembrance at the Memorial Gardens, with “local dignitaries and groups” attending, and says “more information will be available closer to the time”. It has not yet published the order of service, a parade route, or any road closures.
What that leaves open is anything that happens before 10.30am: whether groups assemble elsewhere and march to the memorial, and whether Market Street and the roads around it are closed. We will add those when the council publishes them.

Swanscombe and Greenhithe
Swanscombe and Greenhithe Town Council lists the parish’s services on its own calendar. It has not added 2026 yet. In 2025 there were three events across the two towns, all in the town council’s listings:

If the pattern holds, the Sunday services fall on 8 November and the Armistice Day service on Wednesday 11 November 2026. That is our reading of last year’s listings, not an announcement.
Other villages
